I am Yajvin Tandon. I run an independent practice in New Delhi. The work moves between disciplines because most of the problems do: a campaign needs a voice before it needs a layout, a product needs an argument before it needs a screen, and a film needs a reason to cut before it needs a grade.

The home page of this site is one object. Not a hero image with an instrument in it — an instrument. Click a key, or press one on your keyboard, and it sounds a real note while pigment floods that key. Where you strike the plate decides everything: low on the plate gives a dense, dark, long-ringing bass; high gives a pale, quick treble.

There is no hero copy, no project caption and no year mark on it. The only writing is my name, on the fallboard, where a maker's mark belongs — and it is the link that brought you here. A portfolio that opens by telling you it is a portfolio has already spent the one moment it had.

Built with Next.js, React and three.js, with the instrument drawn in raw GLSL over a procedural two-family wave simulation and sounded through WebAudio. Set in Newsreader and Instrument Sans.
